The Tales of Little Purple – Part 8

by Night Blade*

It’s been quite some time now since you read anything about Little Purple. It didn’t mean that he’d gone for good, only that he was away doing stuff. So now here’s another snippet of his history for you to read, and I hope you like Rayvensclaw’s drawing too!

School Days, School Days
Golden Rule Days

Now that Little Purple can fly
The older dragons both large and small
Did insist that Little Purple must now join the Dragon Horde
To school he must go without a doubt.

Little Purple did stomp and stare and pout and shout
“I should be the master of my own fate, without a doubt!”
But before anything further was said
His father did step in
The mighty dragon of Chaos so huge.

“I have left you alone till now
Thinking that you would flounder and fail
But I can see that this is not so
So to school you must go,
So out, out, out!”

Little Purple knew then that his fate was sealed
To school he surrendered with his father in tow
After all where else could a good little dragon go
If he wanted to grow up to be of great renown.
