It’s been 4 years since I last made a Dragon mask at a Spheres Of Light Beltane Retreat. On previous retreats I have made a Fire Dragon Mask 2011, Water Dragon Mask 2012, Spirit Dragon Mask 2013, Earth Dragon Mask 2014 and Air Dragon Mask 2015 (which you can see by clicking on each name). We had a break from masks for a while and concentrated on different craft activities instead. However, this year it was time for another Dragon — of Light, Dark (or a combination) or Chaos.
As usual I started making my mask at home during the week before the retreat, then put the finishing touches on it at our mask-making afternoon. The colour theme for the weekend was black and red so I decided they would also be suitable colours for my Dragon of Darkness. 🙂
