Saint George and the Dragon – a post on this blog. I’ve always been intrigued by the various depictions of dragons in artworks of long ago and I love looking at old paintings so I’ve put together a very small collection of paintings relating to the legend of St. George and the Dragon — even though it is rather sad looking at the poor old dragon being slain time and time again. :(
